Your Vision Could Help Millions.
Do not expect to change anyone but yourself. The only person you are in charge of is you and your own daily improvements and actions.
As Anthony Robins said `People are not lazy. They simply have impotent goals – that is, goals that do not inspire them.’
Imagine how, a thousand of these daily improvements and actions will make a great contribution towards the world vision, no matter the challenge on poverty, climate change, health and training, cultural preferences or the economy.
Look at climate change for example, each individual could make a difference.
I remember 20 years ago when the Japanese economy was booming. Japanese businesses were buying firms overseas. The first thing they did was to clean up all areas of the business, ranging from the outward appearance to the inward runnings of the business.
We need to do this worldwide.
If you consider how to align third world countries with the global economy, do you believe that a Vision of people or businesses who could contribute to global cleaning, could be a call to their collective consciousness?
Synchronicity – That is when you come up with a seemingly exclusive idea that suddenly two or three other people in the world have as well.
When you go to most third world countries, or even neighborhoods, there is little effort made to keep the environment clean and well looked after. The grass overgrows roads, streets, backyards, with little effort other than using a machete to cut it.
Today, Real Vision could be promoting the use of lawn mowers as an effective cost in countries in need. Just imagine – Australia could be sending second hand lawn mowers into countries in need, so giving those economies a real chance to take off. This idea would be the first step into climate change, as the saying goes, `winning starts with beginning.’
A Vision Could Be As Simple As A Lawn Mower
This may sound like a small thing, but think of the vision beyond. By cleaning each and every corner we could reduce the habitats of mosquitos, rats, snakes, and maybe eradicate malaria. Starting with a humble lawn mower!
When I was in High School in Libreville the students went out on strike because of mismanagement. They blocked the road outside the school, which led to the airport. It was a big demonstration!
The President arrived to clear the road he thought, but found himself taking the side of the students when he viewed the conditions in which the students were being educated. The grass was so high it was a house of snakes. He immediately gave orders for the grounds and buildings to be cleaned and tidied and fired the Principal.
We were then educated in healthier surroundings.
This then led to a more attractive and inspiring environment. We began planting trees in every school. Students became aware of their environment. So you see, one deed leads to another and so on, and so on.
The point I want to make is – in beginning to solving climate change, we need to understand that what will work for first world countries, is not necessarily what third world countries need. We have to help them start with small steps to go forward.
Again, imagine, by just starting with a humble lawn mower, we could then have new landscapes, no visual pollution, new sights, good colors and improved health.
With this Vision, the brain will come back to a positive attitude of faith, hope, wealth and peace…
Just as your brain is influenced by what you see, write or recall day in, day out.
A Vision Starts With Goal Setting
A study done in 1953 by graduates at Yale University, where they asked the students to set clear and specific goals proved this point. Many students chose not to put pen to paper. Their goals did not eventuate. However, the 3% who had written down their goals, were very successful.
We need to write down our goals. The absence of written goals denotes a lack of clarity. It’s the same thing if you forget to weed your garden.
The point is – with Real Vision, that climate change is to inspire, to promote the idea that climate change starts by cleaning your own garden, and then, a pen and paper will follow to draw what you really want.
I hope you will tell me your thoughts in the Real Vision Forum.
