Article One

Are you aware that people without a vision could perish! What is your vision in a perfect world? In which direction are you travelling – back or forward?

A vision is a state of mind – attitude if you like, that could see the future before its time.

Have a Vision

You move on your vision to draw the right outcome you expect. Without that call of vision, many things will be missed. People forget what they are here for.

Our main purpose should be to better ourselves in our world through the habits of patience, self-discipline, and self-denial. Add to those the habits of diligence, wisdom, foresight, humility, and your vision then will manifest.

Vision – is it a brand of food or drink? Where could you buy it?

What we’ve got now is, or has been, the vision of other people. Imagine if other people didn’t put in the effort to build the future as we know it today, where would we be. May I suggest – Back in the dark ages!

We see over and over how a man of vision, with a definite passion can make a difference to millions of people.

Mahatma Gandhi gained the freedom of India with his vision of non-resistance. Because of that vision India today is one of the fastest growing economies in the World.

Nelson Mandela through his patience gave us a good example of leadership. When he became President of South Africa he never followed the usual pattern of staying in power forever. He chose instead to step down after his mandate and allow others to step up to the position.

Just imagine if the rest of the world followed these leadership criteria, what benefits there could be for the people.

Did you know that flying geese are able to fly for long periods at the same speed by swapping the role of leadership?

Why, for centuries, are we still holding on to an obsolete leadership system?

You Can Make A Difference with Your Vision.

Let me share with you the example of a man from a small rural village in Africa. He had a vision to change his village into a thriving city.

How did he put this vision into action?

He was not a politician who could effect change, so what to do? He shared his vision with as many people as would listen. When at last the call came from the Government for the village to expand, a Mayor was needed. He put his name down, won the election and was able to put his vision into action!

May I mention that many people can become a Mayor, but what tools did our new Mayor use to make his vision happen?

He used diligence, wisdom and foresight.

So how will you put your vision into action?

Begin with what you would like for yourself, and what you would like to achieve in your life span.

Write it down! That helps you to hold on to your vision.

Plan the actions needed to see that future.
